Google Base Engineering

“Program Socket C Language Example”, “Process IT Procurement”, “Perl white-box automation example”… and infinite number of search strings. Every time we need a job related snippet, we type the search phrase in the Google search bar and press enter. Rest is up to the search biggie to get wherever it takes. Sometimes to the right location, sometimes forces us to change the search pattern and to follow the cycle.

A segment of population, believes that browsing the internet, and searching various content increases the IQ of a person. Also, it makes us happy to take an accomplishment of getting something done, without hitting the deadline. And, what is the point of writing the same code which is just a single click away? After all, to make a motor bike, we should not start with the invention of wheel.

So, whether the idea is to promote Google Base Engineering? The answer is both YES and NO. YES for increasing our horizon, knowledge base, and to upgrade ourselves to the upcoming technologies. YES to be able to see where you are in the World Standards, YES to be able to see the new opportunities for your growth.

But a big NO should also be noticed. It hampers the thought process of an individual. It breaks the flow of the expressions in human mind. Flow requires a depth of thinking and a focus of attention. Flow requires a challenging use of our knowledge and skills. With the Google base methods, we can become a problem solver, that to a certain extent, but not a problem definer. Search base engineering can rectify 50 lines of code, but to build the project requires domain and domain is gained over a period of time with continuous thoughts and not with a quickie.

Before going to the search engine text bar, we should always be judicious to ourselves to have we given enough thought to the problem for which we are looking the solution. Let us start bothering our own BRAIN RAMS before hitting the Internet, or otherwise let’s be chill, if we do everything by us, then what the heck other 6 billion people will do.
